Appointments

For a free initial assessment, call or email for an appointment. I meet with clients in person or by phone or in a combination of in-person meetings and phone sessions. I initiate all phone calls within the continental United States and Canada; and therefore, there is no telephone fee involved for clients residing in North America. Clients outside North America will have to initiate their phone calls. Appointments are at mutually convenient times. I do conduct sessions at a very wide variety of hours to meet the needs of clients who reside in various time zones. I am available to meet with clients between the hours of 6 AM Eastern Standard Time to 11 PM Monday through Thursday and 9 AM to 3 PM EST on Fridays.

There are two ways to schedule appointments:
1. Send me an email with three options that are convenient for you. Be sure to note dates and times.
2. Call me and make the appointment over the phone. If you reach my answer machine, speak slowly and clearly as you leave a message. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

My expectations of clients are that they complete assignments, give adequate notice when canceling appointments (at least 12 hours, ideally 24 hours), be on time, open and honest. Missed sessions are invoiced at the standard rate of $200 per session.

Besides coaching sessions, I always am available by phone or e-mail for input on issues that are confronting clients. Clients are not invoiced for these. Clients may also use sessions to have me meet with members of their governing board. Past clients who have done this have found it very effective.

If I can't be of substantive help to you, I will do my best to refer you to someone whom I feel can help you.

Executive Coaching Fees

My fees are based on the number of sessions that it usually takes to bring about change, usually ten. A session is an hour and maybe extended 15 to 30 minutes, by mutual decision, during the coaching session. This is based on the assessment of the client's needs and our schedules.

My fee structure is based on the fee structures mentioned in the January 2009 Harvard Business Review article on executive coaching, “What Coaches Can Do for You”. An HBR survey indicates that executive coaches’ fees run from a low of $200 to a high of $500 per session. My fee is $200 per session. I also offer prepaid packages of executive coaching sessions, $900 for five sessions or $1750 for ten sessions. If you choose to pay monthly, I require that you pay a retainer of $500, which will be credited on the first and subsequent invoices. All invoices are due upon receipt.

After you have had your free initial coaching session with me and are ready to make the commitment to executive coaching, I will either mail you an invoice or send it to you by email as an attachment. You may pay by check or credit card. American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards are accepted. Debit cards are also welcome.
